Google Cloud Persistent Disk Provisioning & Storage Attachment Setup
Service Overview
Provision and attach GCP Persistent Disks with correct filesystem and mount configuration.
Service Details
This service creates new Persistent Disks (or reuses existing ones), attaches them to your GCP Compute Engine instances, and configures partitions, filesystems, and mount points. We ensure disks are mounted reliably on reboot and sized appropriately for your workload.

Key Benefits
- Reliable attached storage
- Correct filesystem and mount setup
- Improved data durability
- Easier future scaling of storage
- Reduced risk of data loss from misconfiguration
Use Cases
1
Add extra storage for growing applications
Attach additional Persistent Disks to VMs when application data outgrows the root disk.
2
Separate data from OS for safer upgrades
Keep data on separate disks so OS upgrades or re-creations of the VM are less risky.
3
Prepare storage for databases or file servers
Provision disks with correct filesystem and mount options for databases or file-sharing workloads.
