It covers provisioning the appropriate database tier (Basic, Standard, or Premium), configuring compute/storage scaling, enabling backups, automated tuning, encryption, identity-based access, and firewall/VNet rules.
The service ensures optimal security, performance tuning, cost efficiency, and readiness for integration with applications or data services. Configuration also includes auditing, monitoring dashboards, and high-availability features aligned with business continuity requirements.
